Career Highlights

Chikako Sloan, of Yorktown, Indiana, has been teaching piano at Taylor for 35 years. She and her husband have been performing throughout the U.S., the Bahamas and Japan, including several solo appearances with Marion Philharmonic Orchestra and Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to teaching, she serves Yorktown Methodist Church and Covenant Partners Ministries as a pianist. She is also a volunteer translator for Tim Keller’s publications.
